  One of the top 3 places in Mission to eat. The food here is absolutely amazing. Tarragon sauce is where it is at. Wish they still had the grilled pork dinner. I will never stop going here.

  After visiting a few times, it's very difficult to go out and eat anywhere else. The food here is absolutely incredible. Large portions, a great menu, friendly staff and extremely reasonably priced for the amount and quality of the food. The only negative I have so far is that the Caesar salad dressing isn't very good, but with the multiple side dish options, it isn't that big of a deal for me. The tarragon sauce however, is amazing and needs to be sold by the case! Absolutely delicious, good atmosphere and I now recommend this place to everyone.

  I know barbecue, and this ain't it.
  
  Sorry to break it to the people who claim to love authentic BBQ, but when the joint doesn't smell like your clothes after a campfire, it isn't the real deal. Embers has meat and BBQ sauce, but the preparation is similar to what someone would do in a condo.
  
  The portions are huge but other than the pulled pork wrap, the quality wasn't there. My ribs were either boiled or baked (no smoke ring or even a hint of smoke flavour) and drowning in overly sweet sauce. While ribs should be tender, the bones shouldn't drop off the meat- proper barbecued ribs should have a little pull. In addition, authentic barbecued ribs will have a crust from the rub- these were simply mushy.
  
  The beans were essentially molasses with no smokiness at all and the mixed salad was room temperature and flavourless.
  
  For what it's worth, I've done BBQ competitions and own my own smokers.

  Awesome food. The pricing is super cheap (37 bucks for a giant feast for two) and service is quick and nice. Perfect stop on a road trip

  Home made sourdough bread, local meats, hand-cut fries, greT pulled pork and ribs...and amazing grilled chicken. Oh and fresh baked to order wraps!
